Meet the Team

Tamara

Tamara started swimming as an infant at the University of Saskatchewan swimming pool. Around the age of 2, her parents took her for a family vacation at Mara Lake where they kept catching her paddling out to the floating dock independently and knew she would be water focused for life. She was put into swimming lessons and found her way to teaching children how to swim throughout her schooling. She coached youth in the speed swim feeder club in Saskatoon through high school and while she worked towards her university degree. Tamara has worked in the field of disability and community throughout her career. She saw a need in the Prince George community for more swimming lesson options tailored to the diverse needs of swimmers and learners. Tamara is very excited to be able to partner with the community to provide this service.

Eva

Eva has been swimming since childhood with her parents. She attended lessons then became a member with the Prince George Barracudas. She naturally followed the path towards becoming a Lifeguard and Swim Teacher at local lakes, leading her to transition to the City of Prince George pools. Eva has a lifelong passion for teaching and coaching people in swimming and safety.
